The Brandenburg Sports Federation of Germany Visited Beijing Volunteer Service Federation
On August 18th, 2016, Mr. Tucci Alleemann Carsten, the leader of the German Brandenburg Sports Federation, and colleagues visited Beijing Volunteer Service Federation (BVF) with a group of 17 members. The colleagues of International Department of the Beijing Youth League (BYL), Deputy Secretary General of BVF Mr. Wang Ying, and other relevant stuffs have participated in reception.
First, Mr. Tucci Alleemann Carsten and his group visited the volunteer culture gallery with great interests. After that, Mr. Wang Ying introduced the development of voluntary service and the situation of foreign exchange in Beijing. He expressed a warm welcome with a brief introduction of an overall situation of Beijing volunteer service to the visit of Mr. Carsten's group . Meanwhile, he expressed the hope to continuously strengthen the cooperation between two sides in the field of voluntary. In return, Mr. Carsten expressed his gratitude for the warm reception. The vigorous development of Beijing voluntary work has left a deep impression on Mr. Carsten. Mr. Carsten also invited colleagues of Beijing volunteer service center to visit the German Brandenburg Sports Federation for more in-depth exchanges. At the meeting, the two sides expanded the depth of exchanges on the organization form of voluntary agencies, the funding source of voluntary activities, the training incentives of volunteers and some other issues. Last but not least, the two sides exchanged souvenirs.
It is reported that The Brandenburg state Sports Federation of youth was founded in 1990. It is a state-level sports league with independent public youth organization in Brandenburg state. It is also the largest youth federation of the Brandenburg. BCVL and German Brandenburg state Sports Youth Federation signed a letter of intent in November 2016. In this prospectus, the two sides determined to strengthen exchanges and cooperation in sports, volunteer service, culture, science, technology, training and other areas of youth interests as well as formatting a regular exchange mechanism of visiting. Up to this year, six China-Germany youth exchange activities been held.
