Zhang Peng, Excellent Volunteer

　　Zhang Peng, male, Han Nationality, born in July 1983, Bachelor’s Degree, Office Director of Beijing Tongertang Ginseng & Antler Co. Ltd.

　　Zhang Peng has been engaged in volunteering for 7 years and has worked as Volunteer Guide for more than 20 exhibitions at the National Museum, World Art Gallery and Capital Museum. At the Capital Library Forum, he drew the public closer to the western civilization. Since appointed as the Secretary-General of Volunteer Commission of Beijing Museum Society, he has dedicated to integrating museum volunteer resources for the purpose of building a culture-enriched Beijing.

　　The honors Zhang Peng has been awarded include: one of the 8th Edition of Chinese Excellent Young Volunteers by the Central Committee of CYLC, the 25th Beijing May 4th Prize, Volunteer Champion in National (Museum) Guide Competition hosted by the China Museum Society, one of the first Top 10 Volunteers of the Beijing Cultural Relic Bureau and Beijing Museum Society.
