BVF Sunshine Ladder Program

　　【Background】
　　To promote the volunteerism and volunteering experience gained in 2008 Olympic Games, National Day Holiday and various large-sized games and to implement the “Opinions on Enhancing and Improving Volunteer Work” and “Beijing Management Measures on Volunteers” (Trial) issued by Beijing CPC Committee and Municipal Government, BVF launched “BVF Sunshine Ladder Program” for voluntary service training in May 2011. This program is developed based on the training model of UN “Spring Shoots” Program under the framework of the “Strengthening Volunteerism for Development in China through the 2008 Beijing Olympics” UN-China Cooperation Project, aiming to draw on the volunteer training and management experience of Olympic Games and innovate and develop new modes of volunteer training.

　　【Operation Mode】
　　Project Management Office (PMO) will be set up under the leadership of BVF and BVSGC, responsible for project planning, organizing and implementation, integrating expert resources, drafting implementation plans based on the status quo of voluntary services, organizing training programs, developing trainers and model lessons, constructing training bases and evaluating effectiveness.

　　（1）Management training classes for high-level voluntary service management;
　　（2）Project management training for grass-root voluntary project leaders
　　（3）Volunteer trainers training
　　（4）Constructing model volunteer training programs
　　（5）Constructing an array of volunteer training bases in Beijing
